Remembering him always for what he has done,
He is my salvation, he is my Redeemer the Holy One.
He hath disannulled our covenant with death,
By his defining moment, he gave his dying breath.
He hath broken the chains of death and hell,
Removing our body and spirit from the jail.
Dead men shall live, all the dead shall arise,
When in our bodies once again his presence realize.
Awake and sing ye that slumber and dwell in the dust,
Arise and find new life beyond the canker and rust.
Trust ye in the Lord forever, for in him is our strength,
When we shall stand before him whole at length.
Within my soul dear Lord have I desired thee in the night,
With thy spirit within me I seek thee early at daylight.
Behold, my God is become my salvation, my all and in all.
For in his hands, and feet he bore the fruits of the fall.
I will trust in him the Holy One and dare not be afraid,
Find in him eternal life, the precious price he paid.
For the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song,
He also is become my salvation, for to him I do belong.
No matter at the turning of things upside down,
It will not replace the cross or the thorny crown.
For shall the work say of him that made it stand,
He hath made me not, he does not understand?
The meek shall increase their joy in the Lord,
As he unsheathes his arm and mighty sword.
The poor men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel,
Within whom they wholly trust, he will not fail.
He hath brought the terrible one to naught,
He hath broken his bands and all he taught.
Hath brought the scorner to be consumed,
And freed the captive who were entombed.
All that watch for iniquity are cut off,
Those that lead the blind to drink the bitter trough.
He that make man an offender for a word,
Shall find their table empty and shall not be heard.
That lay a snare and turn aside the just for a thing of naught,
Now realize that with his precious blood he them bought.
Ye are the work of mine hands, sanctify me, my name proclaim!
Sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, fear the God of Israel his name.
