The Hope of Israel

Preserved from the beginning of time to oversee the end,
Heavenly Father withheld his most trusted to defend.
To stand tall with his helmet, armor, buckler and shield,
Never giving in to the evil, they have power to never yield.

To withstand the evil day, having done all to stand,
Walking daily in his light, walking hand in hand.
From their youth by their mothers’, they’ve been taught.
To stand with faith and be delivered, never distraught.

Who is the Hope of Israel, preserved to withstand the evil day?
The youth of the noble birthright, they have been taught the way.
No unhallowed hand can ever turn their hearts away from him,
For shields and swords have they formed from every tree and limb.

When the darkness of the world begins to encircle their will,
They will defend his right to send his light among them still.
Warriors of words of Christ the Lord shall be their clarion call,
Onward onto victory and glory, for he has chosen them all.

Out of the world he has taken them to build his army true,
They will not give in or surrender their will, only to God anew.
With strength earned by choosing to follow him each day,
The evil one, no power has he to turn them from the Lord’s way.

Standing firm undaunted examples of humble hearts, and holy hands,
Wielding the sword of justice following their leaders’ commands.
They will not hearken to the voice, nor heed the worlds demands,
But each will bear the fruit of Christ in their hearts and hands.

The world will soon know of their strength and will to follow him,
Their lamps will he light with his covenant fire, they will not go dim.
Christ is their guiding light they follow from their early youth,
His will, his way, his light they will follow, and worship him in truth.

Worthy to stand as witnesses of Christ’s message in this final hour,
He will endow them with his strength, love, and eternal power.
Never yielding, always following the Saviors light divine,
They will not fail nor falter though calumny may combine.

As warriors of his truth and light his atoning power extend,
To all the earth who seek him out, his servants will defend.
No unhallowed hand may thwart the work of our mighty Lord,
His will defend, they will not bend, but unsheathe his mighty sword.

Clothed with the armor and power of generations of the past,
These are the final standard bearers, yes, even the very last.
One final time he gathers his children together all things in one,
Every knee shall bow and declare “Thou art the Holy One”!
