Feasting Upon His Words

Come unto the Holy One and feast upon his word,
Seeking daily for his guidance so his voice may be heard.
Spend no money for things that have no worth,
Hearken to his words, they will bring about new birth.

When his word is deeply seeded within your heart,
Then you’ll feel the sacred pull to fully do your part.
Nourish his word from morn until eve, give heed every day,
Then the words of Christ will be planted in the fertile way.

Pray unto him daily and give thanks to his Holy name by night,
Then once again find your knees in thanks at the dawning light.
Feasting daily his word will nourish your body, soul and mind,
Press forward feasting upon the words of Christ, your heart he’ll bind.

All ye that are pure in heart lift up your heads and receive,
The pleasing word of his Holy Son and faithfully believe.
Then you will feast upon his love, and remember his life so pure,
Pressing forward with steadfastness in Christ his promises are sure.
