Faith

Because I cannot see
The beginning from the end,
I sometimes walk on blindly
My actions to defend.

My vision is obscured
By the pathways that I take,
It seems I’m walking in the dark
And errors I do make.

If faith is like a mustard seed
Though small it still will grow,
I must remember who I am
And seek for God to know.

For when I cannot see
The pathway I should take,
I simply fall to my knees
And pray for his name sake.

Then arise with vigor new
And with faith walk the path,
Seeking for the better road
And gain all the father hath.

Then my faith is faith no more
But knowledge strong and sure,
No longer left unto myself,
I found the mortal cure.
