Trust In The Lord

When it seems the world has against you turned,
And all the bridges you’ve built have been burned.
You find it hard to remember how you once felt,
When life was much easier and before God you knelt.

Placing our trust in God is simple in times of ease.
But when we face challenges, we are harder to please.
When nothing goes right and everything goes wrong,
Then you no longer feel to sing his redeeming song.

When with critical difficult decisions you are faced,
And life seems out of control and so fast paced,
Reach out your hand to the Holy Son of God,
Holding fast and firm at all times to the iron rod.

Never doubt he knows how you feel and your pain,
Remember your challenges are for your eternal gain.
He never gives you more than you can withstand,
But sustains you each day as he reaches out his hand.

Trust in the Lord and know he truly knows best,
How to lift and mold you as you face each test.
He knows you far better than you know you,
Providing guidance and love your life through.

Trust that he will provide the best path to take,
As you face your decisions or make a mistake.
He will never leave you alone to endure,
Yes, trust in him, for his promises are sure.

He will guide and comfort you along the way,
He will mold and shape you into his path to stay.
Find in him the peace that only trust can bring,
Then his redeeming song you’ll want to sing.
