Expect Miracles

Moving the mountains of life to reveal my path,
The pathway now covered by doubts and fears.
Requires belief that the Lord can do his work,
And one day vanquish my doubt and tears.

Whether the mountains be great or small,
My desire to move that mountain remains.
Removing the doubt requires I trust in him,
Bringing belief and faith he clearly sustains.

Now my challenge is to believe in him,
To trust in his ability to find in me desire.
Building upon the seeds of deity he planted,
My rights to start and build up that fire.

Leaving behind a wall of doubt and fear,
To find the open meadows of faith and love.
Walking each day in the light he brings,
Sending his shafts of hope from above.

Finding each day a pathway well defined,
The scriptures will guide me through.
Remembering the miracles he performed,
Will provide the faith to live life anew.

There are times when I cannot see the path,
When forward seems to lead to defeat.
It is then I must fully trust in the Lord,
And walk on in faith simply moving my feet.

Whether he divides the water of the seas,
Or removes a mountain firmly in my way,
He is and always will be a God of Miracles,
And I choose to follow his path each day.
