The light of Christ is the divine energy, power or influence
That proceeds from God through Jesus Christ his Son.
By and through his Grace all mankind may be saved,
By obedience to his laws as they seek the Holy one.
His ennobling grace is the enabling power of Christ.
He giveth this gift freely to all the children of a just God.
Without money and means of men it can be attained,
By his enabling blood absorbed by the garden sod.
His power can transform us from the depths of misery,
Into a life eternal, as our faith in Christ increases each day.
The choice is ours to turn ourselves about and follow him,
Into a life filled with love, peace, and joy, it is the only way.
Along the pathway leading home his power does light the way,
Showing all who enter his path marked with sinless blood divine.
His atonement pure and eternal gives the power to overcome,
Allowing his countenance to become our holy light to shine.
