Relief In Christ

My belief in Christ helps me find relief in Christ each day,
As I face the world of sin and sorrow and seek him as I pray.
Each burden comes with its own set of challenges I find,
The weight and worth of effort forges truth within my mind.

My faith in Christ helps me find relief in Christ each day,
As I strive to follow in his steps, I am bound in all I do and say.
Each trial bridging the gap I have made between him and me.
Finding strength beyond my own trusting what I can’t see.

My conviction in Christ helps me find relief in Christ each day,
As I serve others with passion born of him who granted the way.
Each burden I lift from the shoulders of another lifts my own,
Giving me new life freed from grief, as now by him I am known.

My reliance in Christ helps me to find relief in Christ each day,
As I strive to live the life he gave, and his pathway always stay.
He carries away the pain and sorrow and replaces it with peace.
For in the Savior I can trust, his love will never, no, never cease.
