Becoming Converted

It is not enough to know about Jesus and what he did,
It is more becoming the man of Christ as he bid.
To become truly converted is not simply to know.
But to earnestly strive to become as he did show.

The sum total of our desires work against or for,
Our desired outcome, as we surely choose the door.
We shall not be surprised in that judgement day,
For clearly we decide in which kingdom we will stay.

Becoming converted a man who in Christ desires,
Will provide the impetus clearly as one who aspires.
To gain all that the Father hath, desire with him abide,
Shall provide access to his kingdom he cannot be denied.

For the final judgement is not what we did but who we are,
What we have become weighs above our acts by far.
Finding in Christ our desire will our natures change,
Then our goal of exaltation shall be our extended range.
