Seeking The Christ

Would I become a true seeker of The Christ our Lord?
Would I walk in his footsteps and follow every word?
Would I seek the baby Jesus and follow signs divine?
Would I seek for the Redeemer and let my light shine?

Would I measure every step as I follow in his way?
Would I become a true follower and in his path stay?
Would I cross my deserts when I think I walk alone?
Would I learn how to forgive or first cast a stone?

I would walk the covenant path each and every day.
I would seek him night and day as I kneel to pray.
I would build my testimony as I study his every word.
I would seek for his light and let my voice be heard.
