Walk With Christ

If you want to walk where Jesus walked long ago,
Then you must travel to that place to truly know.
If you want to walk where Jesus walks today,
Then to his temple you must enter there to stay.

In his house he illuminates the path he did walk,
Exacting righteousness from within those who knock.
To be worthy to enter in the gate he has prepared,
Providing guidance his covenant daily walk he shared.

To walk with him along the covenant path he bled,
Will not be easy, nor can we lead, for we must be led.
By him who forged the pathway from beginning to end,
We shall kneel with adoration, yes, every knee shall bend!

My desire is to walk with Christ each and every day,
To feel his love more fully and in his presence stay.
To emulate his walk with man along the covenant path,
Praising his name, walking his path, gaining all he hath.
