During our journey on earth, we must decisions make,
That will lead us to follow our Savior’s path to take.
To become his disciples, we must leave our life’s nets,
And follow his example of service his divine life sets.
Becoming a true follower, a disciple of God’s Holy Son,
Requires far more than a willingness to become one.
Disciples of old withstood the gallows of man’s desire,
Preaching his holy word to convert and truly inspire.
Becoming, requires daily commitment to heed his call,
Providing courage to remain in the path standing tall.
Never concerned about those who would us deride.
Pressing onward ever onward against the rising tide.
May we always be found spreading his holy light divine,
Knowing daily repentance his atonement will us refine.
Seeking to become more of whom he would have us be,
Finding daily strength to remember him and finally see.
