O Lord, I will praise thee forever, my soul will rejoice in thee!
My God, The Rock of my Salvation that does help me to see.
O Lord, wilt thou redeem my soul and deliver me from my foes?
From sin and all temptations, I would shake from head to toes.
O Lord, may the gates of hell be continually shut before me!
That my heart may be broken, my spirit be contrite before thee!
O Lord, wilt thou not shut the gates of thy righteousness for one?
May I walk in the low valley, that I may be strict to follow thy Son?
O Lord, encircle me in the robe of thy righteousness continually?
Wilt thou make a way for mine escape before mine enemies eternally?
O Lord, wilt thou make my path straight before me in the plain road?
Wilt thou clear my path, and not hedge it up, but enemies be slowed?
O Lord, I have trusted in thee, and I will trust in thee forevermore!
I will not put my trust in the arm of flesh, nor in man build my store.
O Lord, I will cry unto thee, my God the rock of righteousness forever!
My voice shall ascend unto thee my rock and never cease, no never!
