Walk The Covenant Path

As we begin our covenant path, baptism is the gate,
We enter in our newfound life with excitement we wait.
Being buried in the water, a symbol of the grave,
Raised to life anew then we enable our souls to save.

Our new journey begins with hope, the covenant path to stay,
We often struggle to remember him and follow in his way.
Each Sabbath we remember him as emblems we partake,
Promising to remember him always, the covenant we make.

As we grow and learn of him, his desire is to give us more,
To see our spirits strengthen by his sacrifice of every pore.
When we are prepared to enter the Temple he’ll provide,
For no one is excluded through his atonement, not denied.

Within the walls of his sacred house, we will learn and grow,
Born new women and men in Christ the pathway he did show.
Becoming reborn as followers of Christ in the covenant path,
We can become more like the Savior and gain all the Father hath.
