When He Comes Again

Will I be ready when he comes again,
To stand and be counted with him then?
Will I have paid the price him to know?
Or simply hang my head in shame and go?

Will I be ready when he comes again,
To see his face and walk with him?
Or will I turn the other way and jeer,
Or walk the road just passing near?

Will I be ready when he comes again,
To feed his sheep and sit with him?
Or will I spend my time lost alone,
As Jesus wishes for me to be known?

Will I be ready when he comes again,
To behold the love that comes from him?
Or will I turn my head in lasting shame,
As I am fearful to even speak his name?

Will I be ready when he comes again,
To spread the palms before him when,
He once again walks here with man?
Our king, our ruler the great I am!
