As I enter the temple, my cares are washed away,
Finding faith, he anoints my head as I bow and pray.
I promise to take his Holy name upon me, nothing less,
He then clothes me in his robes of pure righteousness.
Each time I enter the temple, I am reminded of him,
Who bled and died to rescue my soul from every sin.
Everything we do in the temple to the Savior points,
As he washes away fears and with a crown anoints.
He does not leave us short, but adds on learning more,
Providing us the power to become his children sure.
Endowed with the power to follow him each day,
Gives the needed boost to obey his will in every way.
Now his plan complete, he provides the sealing power,
Blessed by priesthood sealing keys in that very hour.
No more left alone, having entered the path secure,
He provides the pathway back, arriving clean and pure.
