The Law of Undulations

The deeper the depths and wider the valleys of life may be,
The deeper our belief and trust in Christ we come to see.
Christ loves us at our lowest points, our days of deepest loss,
Christ also truly loved us at his lowest point upon the cross.

Through deep trials our thoughts no longer remain shallow,
Finding enlightenment from the giver of light will us hallow.
Into the living waters the roots of our thoughts must sink deep
Drinking freely of the dregs of isolation will us safely keep.

No one, No one will sink deeper than Christ has already been,
His will given to the Father showed he was the Son of Men.
He knows how to reach down and pull us back into his rest
Bringing us to his ways and helping us to become our best.

Our ways are not his ways, no, the path to Christ requires more.
Becoming his Disciple being willing to stay no matter the score.
Christ relies on the troughs for character building acceleration,
Through the deepening cycles of character building undulation.

He will reach down and lift us equally as he lifted himself anew,
He weeps as we move forward when our darkest night is through.
When we choose to finally kneel before him as victors in this life,
Christ will then deliver us from the undulations of this mortal life.

He gives us those same moments when we cannot see him there.
We get to choose to follow him when we feel all alone in despair.
Hold onto your cross as if you are nailed to it. Do not think to let go.
Your scars from holding on to Christ will be your reminder to show.

Remember
Pain is his evidence that he trusts us to follow him no matter what.
