When the Lord healed the ten lepers on that miraculous day,
All ten of them were healed as they went along their way.
Only one returned to thank the Lord for his healing gift divine,
In return his faith made him whole, his spirit healed in kind.
How oft’ have we approached the Lord and asked to be healed?
And felt his tender love for us as his will for us was revealed.
The time for healing beyond our reach of a mortal kind indeed,
The Savior of the world re-pines and heals our hearts in need.
He will one day heal our heart and soul when the timings right,
But not before he gives us more that keeps us up at night.
We are rightly made whole, as we choose to follow him each day,
Submitting our hearts and will as we change and choose to stay.
Seeking Christ from morning’s light until the night returns,
Provides hope in Christ and fills us with love as our bosom burns.
Through our faith in Christ, we can one day be made whole,
As we make covenants with him and give all our heart and soul.
