Choice is the key to happiness in following Jesus Christ,
Coming to know him through adversity, well worth the price.
Choosing each day to follow him from morning until night,
Making good decisions every day, always choosing the right.
I can choose to follow him when tempted each and every day,
Then, choose to find and help my brother who has lost his way.
Yielding always to the spirit of Christ in all things I say and do,
Rescuing others with pure love, and to his gospel remain true.
Then the molding and shaping by the master potter can begin,
As we strive to become who he longs for us to be, free from sin.
What does Christ want from us? He wants our hearts to sire,
What does Christ require from us? Our soul’s sincere desire.
In turn, he will heal our wounded heart, and our soul complete,
When we are willing to give away our wants and lay it at his feet.
He will in turn change our hearts forever, and fill us with that joy,
As our lives then become one of service forever in his employ.
