Christ is The Tree of Life

Christ is Pure Love undefiled, His love is not bound by time,
His character is pure eternal love, sweet and sublime.
In Him we find the fruit of the tree of life, pure and white,
Through Him we can find joy even in our darkest night.

Christ’s attributes defined in whole, are His Pure Love,
Bringing heavens Pascual Lamb to earth from above.
The Tree of Life in Eden’s garden was in the very center,
So too must Christ be our center, if we will heaven enter.

Fitting that He entered the garden and knelt at the alter,
He willingly paid for our sins and pain; He did not falter.
His pure love led him to the garden and got him through,
He did pay all our debts, opened the door for me and you.

Nothing will fill us with more light than to taste of his joy,
Find peace from pain and sorrow as we his price employ.
Mists of darkness may blind our eyes and heart to see,
That Christ is and always will be the pathway to that tree.
