Alive In Christ

As I worship this Easter morning, I praise His holy name,
Death no longer has power over man, Christ overcame.
Through His eternal sacrifice we shall stand and endure,
Alive in Christ we shall forever be, His promises are sure.

Raising my voice in sweet devotion, my heart fills with joy,
As angels join earthly choirs, my heart and voice employ.
Christ has removed both curse and stain by his blood pure,
Alive in Christ we shall forever be, His promises are sure.

As night turns to day, the sun will rise again this Easter morn,
Heaven’s door opens wide as in Christ we are each reborn.
The morning bright proclaims new life is born each new day,
Alive in Christ we shall forever be, His promise here to stay.

May we always remember through Christ’s hope we share,
His light and word across the world without an earthly care.
Our Savior and Redeemer has assured by His voice divine,
We are alive in Christ, may we forever let his light so shine.
