The lifelong journey of my heart begins with a singular beat,
A life fully illuminated by the Saviors light at His mercy seat.
Has my soul expanded through a mighty change of heart,
As I seek to know and follow His word, from the very start?
Seeking for His light divine, I sing songs of redeeming love,
Experiencing heart beats of change light the path above.
As I listen, read, ponder and pray for this change of heart,
I humble myself, put my trust in the Lord, never to depart.
Have I spiritually been born of God with His image in my face?
Does my countenance shine as I fully embrace His grace?
Have I experienced the daily mighty change of my heart?
As I build faith along the rugged path pulling my handcart.
Yielding my will, I seek to align as my heart beats strong,
Persistent daily changes of heart lead me where I belong.
Experiencing daily this mighty change of my heart anew,
Aligns my heartbeats with the Saviors as I remain true.
