Our journey in a life of meaning can only lead us to one place,
A place filled with light and love where we can one day see his face,
Every moment of His life was lived with his arms outstretched to call,
Come home, come home as he is calling to one and calling to us all.
Jesus is asking for us to follow him, reaching out his arms in love,
Tenderly seeking for His children to listen to follow him above.
His mercy and grace is calling us home, come home, he calls to me,
Listen dear child and remember his love he so longs your face to see.
Come home is his call as his arms reach across the heavens above,
His voice is calling to you and to me as he reaches down in pure love.
Lifting the hands and hearts of the weary and weak, upon the cross,
His hands and feet secured are a labor of love, his love is not a loss.
Jesus is calling us to come home, he has opened the door for all,
Willingly walking the covenant path I follow always heeding his call.
His arms are open wide as eternity for he can embrace each child,
Yes, his love and mercy with grace he will call with a voice that is mild.
