Alignment with the Savior cannot be done with our mind alone,
No, it requires more, even the very center of our souls we own.
A stoney hardened heart cannot feel the Savior as he draws near,
It clouds our judgement and hinders our hearts to feel and hear.
The power of a heart to yield and come unto Jesus the Holy One,
Is an open heart with fleshy tables wherein is written the Son.
Our hearts are the center of our soul reminding us who we are,
Descending from our heavenly home to stand apart from afar.
Learning to hear truths and feel love he has for us in our heart,
Will bring us to remember Him, striving each day to do our part.
Yielding our souls center to only follow Him no matter the cost,
Ensuring our divine destiny to become like Him, will not be lost.
We are sons and daughters of a loving, breathing, living God,
Who provided a guide even his written word in the iron rod.
To hear and write as we yield our hearts to the one so divine,
Christ is our center as we fill our hearts with his eternal sign.
